Dearly beloved, Loving greetings to you in the name of Jesus Christ! When we walk with Jesus, we must meditate upon His love, the sacrifice He made for us, the work He accomplished for us on the cross. Only then, we will be able to inherit those blessings in our lives. It is written in 2 Corinthians 8:9, “…Lord Jesus Christ, though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.” Which means, Jesus is the God of riches. Some say that Jesus is a poor God; He was born and brought up in a poor family; Is He a God who puts on a golden crown or the one who wears jewels and is pompous? He is a poor God!
He is an indigent God. Some say out of their ignorance that if we worship Him, we’ll only become destitute! But, He is a God of riches! He is the God who created the heaven and the earth. He is the God who said that silver and gold are His! If He wished, He could have born as a Prince in a palace, He could have also walked with a golden crown on His head and adorned Himself with gold jewelries. Why did He become poor? “He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.” Look, even at the time when He was hanging on the cross, He didn’t own anything for Himself; they even took off His robe from Him. He didn’t even own a tomb to bury Him. The reason why He humbled Himself so much and became poor is to change poverty from you. to change the curse of poverty from you. Are you suffering from financial troubles, need, scarcity, debts and poverty, today? The Bible says that Jesus became poor just for you. He carried all your scarcity, poverty, humility, etc., on the cross. Believe! Now, look at God and say, “Let all the scarcity, poverty and financial troubles in my family be removed! Because, You became poor for me; You lost everything on the cross and hung on it. Please give me that blessing”; ask Him and He will bless you! “Father, even though You were a God of riches, You died on the cross like a poor, like an orphan on the cross who lost everything. For this son/ this daughter, in order to remove their poverty, to revert their debts, to take away their scarcity. To deliver them from this curse and to give them riches, prosperity and blessings please remember that You hung on the cross like a poor man. Let poverty be removed in the name of Jesus and let there be riches and prosperity from today in their lives. I pray in the name of Jesus, Father. Amen. Amen.”
